Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actress best known for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda as well as Voltea Pa' te Enamores. A dancer and model by trade Toubia also has achieved great success in both of these fields. Her home is in Montreal, but grew up and studied in Texas. Her love of performing has been with her since childhood. At a very young age she's been learned a range of styles. At the age of 15 old, she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. She began acting in 2010 when she played an office receptionist in the Telemundo episode. She appeared in the 2015 action drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
