Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known her real name as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter on her home town. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. The actress is the sister to Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There was no electricity. Ryder began to be a passionate reading book because there was no television. Ryder was 12 when she was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986 when she was 15 years old. Ryder was bullied in high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress would make a difference. It didn't work out. The actress pursued her dreams. The year 1988 saw her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
