Heidi Klum is a German actress who was born in the city of Bergisch Gladbach on the 1st of June 1973. Erna the mother of Heidi was a stylist. Their father Gunther Klum worked as a company's executive in the field of cosmetics. Heidi's father was formerly employed as a producer with 4711, an organization that makes perfume. She was born in her home city that is Bergisch Gladbach a city of approximately 100,000 inhabitants just six miles east of Cologne. Heidi Klum, a German-American fashion model is currently a host on television and producer of fashion designers, business woman, and actress who lives and performs her work in the southern part of California and Germany. A girlfriend (Karin) was encouraging the 18-year-old student to enter an German TV show called Model 92. Klum faced off against the 25,000 contestants who came from Germany as well as Europe until she was the third semi-finalist. In April 1992 Klum was awarded the biggest prize, which was $300,000.
